Mount Juliet Estate Welcomes Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud To The Lady Helen Continuing Their Series Of Exceptional Michelin Dining Experiences
For one night only, Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud will venture from its Dublin home on Tuesday April 16th to collaborate with Chef John Kelly of the Lady Helen restaurant at Mount Juliet Estate to produce an evening of extraordinary dining. This will be the first time Chef Guillaume Lebrun has collaborated with another chef in Ireland since the inception of Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud over 40 years ago.
Master Chef Guillaume Lebrun, Executive Head Chef, and founder of Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud along with his former apprentice, Chef John Kelly, will create a rare menu anchored in classical French cooking techniques.
Both chefs have been recognised by Michelin. Chef John celebrating the eleventh year of the Michelin Star at the Lady Helen. Chef Guillaume and Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud were the first in Ireland to be awarded two Michelin Stars. This gastronomic collaboration will see both chefs combine their personal culinary ethos into the creation of menus for this remarkable dining experience.
Sommelier, Jean Baptiste who has returned to the Lady Helen after a year working in Bora Bora, has cleverly paired the menu with a selection of exceptional wines from both established and artisan producers. The desserts have been paired with the Nespresso Professional Brazil Organic coffee, a smooth arabica bean coffee drink with toasted cereal notes.
Mount Juliet Estate General Manager, Mark Dunne, is delighted to welcome the renowned Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud director Stephane Robin, who will join Mark in welcoming guests to this wonderful event.
Set in the serene Lady Helen dining room of the Georgian Manor House, the room boasts beautiful views of Ballylinch Stud and the River Nore. Guests will be welcomed to a pre-dinner champagne reception, before being ushered to the dining room for what promises to be a remarkable dining experience.
The ‘Master & Apprentice’ Tasting Menu at the Lady Helen is priced at €175 per person with wine pairing. This is a one night only experience and demand will be high, reservations are essential.
